Junior Girl Scouts Troop 88 Earns Bronze Award

Alwyn, Greer and Brianna, all of Decatur, earned the Girl Scout Bronze Award for conducting a Food Drive to benefit Committee on Church Cooperation. The girls organized their food drive by advertising to local radio and television stations and placing banners, fliers, and door hangers throughout their neighborhood. They collected food and money, which was used to purchase food. Their food drive was a two-day event with stands set up at Wal-Mart and Girl Scout Little House.
