Be The Change: A program that equips girls to think & act globally

​​​Be the Change is all about equipping girls to think and act globally! This event will focus on four of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals: Zero Hunger, Gender Equality, Clean Water & Sanitation, Affordable and Clean Energy. Come to Birmingham Southern College to
Be the Change, and enjoy many hands-on activities to and have fun while learning to “make the world a better place.”  

GSNCA is partnering with local, community, organizations to present hands-on activities for Girl Scouts of all ages!​ Older girls will have the opportunity to participate in more in-depth activities and discussion. Participating community partners include: the Cahaba River Society, the Southern Environmental Center, Alabama River Alliance, Birmingham Food Bank and many more!

Event cost includes a buffet lunch in the Birmingham-Southern cafeteria, an event patch, and all of the day's activities. Early bird registrants will receive Earth Matters "e" addition to the event patch. Please wear your Girl Scout vest or sash to the event!
