Last month, Junior Troop 499 helped with preparing food for the less fortunate. These girls worked diligently for two hours helping to prepare 80 food trays that were disbursed to the hungry crowd. Their community work, at the Downtown Rescue Mission in Huntsville, has given them a new found appreciation for things now! The girls were more than ecstatic knowing that they were helping others. Because of this, they are more than grateful for all that they have!

Girls from Troop 499, along with one of Troop 466 cadette’s, enjoyed an evening of volunteering and fun. Their community work included helping at Santa’s Village, located at the Constitution Village in Downtown Huntsville. They even helped Mrs. Claus make ginger bread cookies! In addition to volunteering, the girls were there to support the Alabama Constitution Foundation.
