Troops 278 and 28 from Lily Cove manned the emergency preparedness booth at Wal-Mart back in the early part of September. They staffed the booth educating people on the Get 10 program (10 things to have in case of a disaster). This program is a part of Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD), that coordinates planning efforts by numerous voluntary organizations responding to disaster.
